Pym Street closure between Charron Road and Austin Street, Croydon Park

The R2P Project has been installing underground drainage along the North-South Motorway, South Road, Regency Road and Pym Street.

From Sunday, 31 May 2020, works will be undertaken on Pym Street, on both the eastern and western sides of South Road, to complete the final drainage works in this location.

Night works will be undertaken from Sunday, 31 May to Thursday, 4 June each night between 7pm and 6am.

Signage will be in place to advise motorists of road closures and detour routes via Rugby Avenue onto Crossley Avenue for the western side closure, and Overland Road onto Charron Road for the eastern side closure during the hours of the works.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained at all times during these works. There is no change to public transport services. Access to residential properties on Pym Street will be maintained.

Please plan ahead and take extra care when workers are on site. Observe speed limits, lane restrictions and traffic controllers when travelling through the area.
