Concrete road barrier placement

Mon., 17 February, 2020

Over the last few weeks, the R2P project team has been busy working night shifts to install concrete road barriers with ‘anti-gawk’ screens.

The barriers are installed along South Road between Lamont Street (Renown Park) and Camira Street (Regency Park), around the South Road and Regency Road intersection and along Pym Street.

The next stage is to install temporary fencing around the construction areas to prepare for works.

Traffic management signage is in place for motorists, as well as wayfinding signage for cyclists and pedestrians. As fences are installed, more signs will be installed to ensure clear and safe access around the project site.
