Sustainability

The R2P Alliance has been registered for a rating under the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia’s (ISCA) IS Rating Scheme to drive sustainability initiatives and to optimise environmental, social and economic outcomes for the Project over the long term.

Key areas that the project team are currently working on include:

  • Urban Design;
  • Community Consultation;
  • reductions to materials, energy and water use;
  • waste minimisation;
  • minimising site environmental impacts during construction from noise, dust and vibration; and
  • noise mitigation for the operational phase of the project.
