Community Liaison Group

The first meeting for the R2P Community Liaison Group (CLG) was held on Thursday, 6 February. The CLG is comprised of local community members with an interest in the R2P Project. Members will act as a liaison between their local communities and the R2P Alliance project team, and will meet regularly over the life of the R2P Project.

The number one priority for the CLG is the delivery of an end product that has a positive impact on the neighbourhood in which they live. Key priorities include: landscaping, urban design, public art and providing public spaces for the community. Another concern includes temporary disruption to residents around access to important services, such as schools, work places and shops.
