Reflecting on achievements
The R2P Alliance has recently achieved several important project milestones.
In mid-December 2020, the northern ramp retaining earth walls were completed followed by the southern side in late December 2020.
The Regency Road Overpass centre spans, assembled off-site at the Polonia Reserve compound, are complete and ready for transportation and installation from Monday, 4 January 2021. The centre spans will be transported from the Polonia Reserve compound to their final location, over Regency Road, using Self Propelled Modular Transporters (SPMTs).

The roadworks team has laid approximately 60% (36 000 tonnes) of the asphalt required on the project. A significant amount of this was achieved by working across weekends throughout November 2020, and December 2020, to lay asphalt along Regency Road.
The R2P Project will take a break for the holiday period from Thursday, 24 December 2020, to Saturday, 2 January 2021, inclusive. However, critical works in preparation for the overpass installation will continue during this period, outside of the public holidays.
The 1300 110 906 information line will remain operational 24/7 during the holiday break time.
Well done to the team who have worked incredibly hard this year. The R2P Alliance is looking forward to a break, before returning in early January 2021.
