Pym Street closure between Charron Road and South Road, and Austin Street and South Road, Croydon Park
The Regency Road to Pym Street (R2P) Project is progressing and the installation of underground drainage systems is a key focus for the upcoming months.
These works will start Monday, March 30, and continue through to May 2020. Drainage will be installed along Pym Street, Regency Road and the North-South Motorway, as well as in the vacant land along South Road, in Croydon Park and Regency Park.
Pym Street
Works will commence along Pym Street, on both the eastern and western sides of South Road, with two crews and are expected to take approximately three weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Works will be undertaken at night, between 6pm and 6am, Monday to Friday.
To safely undertake works along Pym Street, the street will be temporarily closed during this time to road users between Charron Road and South Road, and between Austin Street and South Road.
Access to bus and emergency services, and residential properties on Pym Street, will be maintained. Usual access will be reinstated after each night shift.
